Book an immigration consultation
Happy New Year, and thank you for your interest in discussing your New Zealand immigration matter.
My name is Tatiana Elvery, New Zealand licensed Immigration Adviser (IAA Licence No. 202101015), and founder of Aspiring Immigration.
I provide professional immigration advice, assistance and representation to:
individuals and families, and
New Zealand employers,
whether you are in New Zealand or offshore.
All consultations are currently conducted online via Microsoft Teams, allowing me to assist clients anywhere in the world.
If you are not quite ready to book a consultation, you are welcome to complete our Contact Form, and we will be in touch.
Below the Appointment Selection section below, you will be able to read some useful information regarding the level of assistance we provide and our fees structures if you need further advice after your initial consultation.
What Happens After the Initial Consultation?
Clients often ask what the process looks like if they decide to proceed beyond the initial consultation.
Under the Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA) Code of Conduct, I can only provide ongoing advice, assistance or representation once a written agreement is in place.
This written agreement will clearly set out:
the scope of services I will provide,
my fees and billing structure,
any third-party costs, and
all other mandatory terms required under the IAA Code of Conduct.
This ensures transparency, compliance, and clarity for both parties.
Fee Structures
Depending on your circumstances and the level of assistance required, I offer two main fee structures:
1. Standard Fixed-Fee Assistance and Representation
For most standard visa categories, I offer full end-to-end assistance and representation at a fixed professional fee, typically ranging from:
NZD 1,000+ to NZD 3,500+ (GST inclusive) per individual
(depending on the visa category and complexity of the case).
This usually applies to common visa types such as work, visitor, student, partnership and residence applications.
2. Hourly-Rate Services (Non-Standard or High-Risk Matters)
In some cases, or in addition to a fixed fee, I may offer services at an hourly rate of NZD 185 (GST inclusive), particularly for:
Highly technical or specialist visa categories, such as
Active Investor Plus, Business Investor, or Specific Purpose or Event Work VisasComplex or higher-risk cases, including but not limited to:
health or character issues
bona fide, or any other application related concerns which may result in the application or request to be declined by INZ or the IPT
previous visa or applications refusals, cancellations or deportation matters
Requests for Information (RFI) or Potentially Prejudicial Information (PPI) letters from Immigration New Zealand
unlawful status, Section 61 requests, reconsideration requests
Immigration and Protection Tribunal (IPT) appeals
priority or time-sensitive matters
Hourly billing is used where flexibility, strategic advice, or limited-scope assistance is more appropriate.
Third-Party Costs
In addition to my professional fees, you may need to pay third-party costs, such as (but not limited to):
Immigration New Zealand (INZ) or Immigration and Protection Tribunal (IPT) fees
translation or interpreter fees
English language tests
medical examinations or police certificates
NZQA assessments
courier or postage fees
other legal or professional fees where applicable
Where these costs are invoiced through us, they are passed on strictly at cost, with no markup, in accordance with the IAA Code of Conduct.
GST
All fees and prices quoted include GST at 15%, unless expressly stated otherwise.
If you would like tailored, compliant and strategic immigration advice from a licensed professional, I invite you to book a consultation using the calendar above.
